The SASSCAL OADC (Open Access Data Centre) will soon present a tool on its website that will depict the daily rainfall over the entire extent of the SASSCAL countries (Angola, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Zambia).
In the interactive map representing the daily rainfall, the user will be able to view the rainfall recorded by SASSCAL’s WeatherNet (www.sasscalweathernet.org) and the 24-hour CHRS PERSIANN-CCS G-Wadi rainfall summary. The user will also be able to study the historical rainfall data.
As can be seen on the map of 2 March 2017, the region received some welcome downpours.
In the meantime, you can view the SASSCAL Daily Rainfall here: SASSCAL Daily Rainfall
