As part of her orientation programme, the newly appointed SASSCAL Executive Director (ED), Dr Jane Olwoch, visited Zambia on 20th February, 2017. Dr Olwoch had a two-part programme while she was in Zambia: a courtesy call to the Zambian representative on the SASSCAL Governing Board (who is also Board Chairperson) and a meeting with the staff of the Zambia National Node.
At the meeting, Dr Olwoch expressed happiness to visit Zambia and to get to know more about SASSCAL’s work in the country. In her remarks, SASSCAL Board Chairperson Jane Chinkusu, welcomed the ED to Zambia and pledged the Board’s and Zambia’s support to the success of her work, especially since the initiative has shown positive results.
