This two weeks course on climate and water related topics is conducted by colleagues from the Climate Service Center Germany in Hamburg and the University of Jena. The focus of the climate course (first week) will be on regional climate change assessment and uncertainty analysis with emphasis on practical exercises and is addressing participants, who are working with climate data in order to derive specific information for hydrological impact studies. The water course (second week) will cover the setup and application of a hydrological simulation model for climate impact analysis, using the example of a SASSCAL river basin in Zambia.
